BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man was arrested on abuse charges after his infant son was taken to the hospital Thursday with a broken leg and other injuries.
Henry Leboeuf, 22, of Baton Rouge, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of cruelty to a juvenile.
According to the probable cause report, doctors determined the broken leg and bruising on the 7-month-old's body were consistent with those caused by abuse.
The report added the doctor stated there were "bruises of fingerprint impressions on the child's forehead and back."
The report also stated the injuries happened when the baby was left alone with Leboeuf the day before while the mother was at work and she decided to take the child to the hospital after he wouldn't stop crying.
