BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge has announced that they have begun their national search for a new president and CEO.
"We are excited to move forward," says ACGBR Board Chairman Brian Haymon. "Under the leadership of a new president and CEO, and with the support of arts, business, education, political, and community leaders, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is ready to embark on an ambitious new path – one that will see the arts continue to flourish and enrich our community life, and serve as a cornerstone of our region's social and economic development."
Two current ACGBR staff members, Lisa Ibert and Jonathan Grimes, are currently serving as the co-interim directors. Ibert and Grimes have served in the position since the departure of former President and CEO Eric Holowacz in February.
The board has selected the Louisiana Association of Non-Profit Organizations to manage the search process. District manager of Capitol One and Arts Council Director, Nancy Stitch will serve as the chair of the search committee.
