3 juveniles found in home during drug bust in Gonzales

GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -

A woman and her husband were arrested Tuesday after deputies with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office found Xanax, Clonazepam, Methamphetamine, Suboxone and drug paraphernalia were found in the home. Deputies also say the couple's two children and another juvenile were in the home.

Narcotics detectives obtained evidence that 37-year-old Lindsey Fontenot was distributing Xanax from her home in the 12100 block of Turry Road in Gonzales.

When detectives arrived, they found her husband, 36-year-old Jeffrey Fontenot and the juveniles inside, along with the drugs.

Office of Child Services was contacted and the two children were released to a relative, and the unrelated juvenile was released to a parent.

Lindsey Fontenot was arrested and charged with distribution of schedule IV CDS (Xanax), possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV CDS, possession of a schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine), possession of a schedule III CDS (Suboxone), Possession of a schedule IV CDS (Clonazepam), three counts of possession of a CDS in the presence of a Minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $65,294.50.

Jeffrey Fontenot was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule IV CDS, possession of a schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine), possession of a schedule III CDS (Suboxone), Possession of a schedule IV CDS (Clonazepam), three counts of possession of a CDS in the presence of a Minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $70,344.50.

They were both booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
