Accused drug dealer arrested after detectives receive tip

GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -

A tip that an accused drug dealer was dealing cocaine Wednesday led to the arrest of 33-year-old Donald Gaddis of Gonzales.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Gaddis' home and seized about $6,000 worth of cocaine, Oxycodone, marijuana and suboxon.

Gaddis was currently out on a $20,000 bond stemming from a September 2014 arrest where he was previously charged with traffic violations, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

Gaddis was arrested Wednesday and charged with distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, and possession with intent to distribute suboxone.

He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where his bond has been set at $250,000.
