BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said a man accused in the shooting death of a woman is being held without bond, but bond was set for his girlfriend, who is charged for allegedly helping him elude investigators.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Quintin Thomas, 26, of Baton Rouge, is not eligible for bond because he is charged with first-degree murder. Bond was set at $10,000 for his girlfriend, Victoria Guillory, 23.

They were both arrested in connection with the killing of Idalis Smith, 18, who was found shot to death in her home on North 30th Street at Bogan Walk on Friday. A 34-year-old man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Thomas was arrested Monday by the Lafayette Police Department and booked into the Lafayette Parish Detention Center.

He was then sent to Baton Rouge and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Guillory is charged with accessory after the fact - first-degree murder.

Detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
