BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police have established a possible motive in a deadly shooting, but the suspect remains on the loose.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Yovanni Ramos-Salazar, 31, is wanted in the shooting death of Joel Guevara, 28.
Detectives said they believe Ramos-Salazar shot and killed his neighbor, Guevara, after finding out Guevara allegedly raped one of his relatives.
The shooting happened on Quida Mae Drive on Sunday around 8 p.m.
According to investigators, Guevara was shot multiple times outside his apartment after a brief argument between he and the shooter.
