BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU Pro Day will take place Friday, but one Tiger who has declared for the NFL draft won't be participating.
NFL.com reported former LSU cornerback Jalen Collins underwent foot surgery last Thursday, which will prevent him from working out this week.
Collins is considered one of the top cornerback prospects in this year's draft, with some experts predicting he could be a first-round selection.
Meanwhile, a couple of Tiger offensive linemen could have been participating in pro day had they not chosen to stay in school.
Left tackle Jerald Hawkins, who will replaced La'el Collins, and right tackle Vadal Alexander said they're proud of the choice they made.
