Supporters to gather along Range Ave. tonight in Denham Springs to escort Marine home

DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) - Tonight at 6:15 p.m., supporters will gather along Range Avenue in Denham Springs to help bring a Marine home. The hearse carrying 29-year-old Staff Sgt. Adam Jacob Koczrowski USMC/Active Duty will be escorted by the Patriot Guard and law enforcement from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to Seal Funeral Home in Denham Springs.

The line will be from the funeral home to I-12. The funeral home is located across from All Western Store, north of I-12 on Range Ave.

Staff Sgt. Koczrowski was killed in a crash on March 10, 2015. He was a combat instructor stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC.

An official with the Military Advocacy Project of Louisiana will be on hand to pass out flags and candles to those without any. They will be in the shopping center parking lot set up next to Raising Cane's on S. Range Ave.
