BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department have released the name of the victim involved in a deadly single-car crash.

Dayton Guillot, 74, of Baker, died from injuries sustained after crashing into a culvert on Nicholson Drive at about 10:20 a.m. on Sunday morning.

A witness says that Guillot was swerving back and forth before he drove off the road and into a ditch. The witness says that the truck flipped "six or seven" times, and as a result, Guillot was ejected from the truck.

Investigators say that alcohol is not being considered a factor in the crash, and they are still investigating as to why this crash occurred.
