BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The PBS show "Road Trip Nation" visited the Christa Mcauliffe Superintendent's Academy today. The show aims to help teens make their own life roadmap.

“We turn [the show] into an educational curriculum for kids to do that career exploration from within the classroom” says Ben Sianko, with Road Trip Nation. “It gives them the tools of doing a "cold call", an informational interview, it also focuses on self-discovery. What are your interests? What really drives you? And how can I turn that into a career.”

State Senator Sharon Weston Broom attended the presentation at the Superintendent's Academy. She spoke briefly about the ups and downs on her career path.
