ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police reported I-10 East reopened at Whiskey Bay on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge after a crash shut down both lanes Thursday morning.
Troopers said the wreck happened at mile marker 128 around 9 a.m and all lanes were reopened just before 11 a.m.
Drivers trying to get to Baton Rouge from Lafayette should continue to expect heavy delays. Troopers said traffic was backed up for 10 miles.
Drivers are urged to take I-49 North to Opelousas and then US 190 East to Baton Rouge.
It is unknown if there were any injuries in the accident.
