BERWICK, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said an investigation into complaints about drugs being sold out of a home resulted in four arrests Saturday on meth and other charges.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reported Eric Driskill, 39, Mary Driskill, 59, Gary Driskill, 62, and Kathryn Vines, 42, were taken into custody. All four live at a home on Second Street in Berwick.
Deputies said they executed a "no knock" search warrant at the home after receiving complaints that Eric and Mary Driskill were possibly selling meth at the home. Detectives reported finding bags of meth, Oxycodone pills, several guns and drug paraphernalia (digital scales and pipes) in the house.
They added the house is only a block away from two churches and they learned Eric Driskill is a convicted felon. All of the suspects are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone), possession of Schedule III (Subutex) and possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS.
Eric and Mary Driskill face additional charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of Oxycodone. Eric Driskill is also charged with possession of Folbee without prescription and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The Berwick Police Department assisted with searching the home.
The investigation is ongoing.
