Police search for silver Mercedes after hit and run in which SUV overturned

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police are investigating a reported hit and run crash that left an SUV on its side early Monday morning.

It happened on Lee Drive at Highland Road around 5 a.m.

Witnesses said a silver Mercedes left the scene.

It is not known if anyone in the overturned vehicle was injured.

Call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867 if you know anything about the other vehicle involved.
