BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Area Chamber is seeking improvement with its annual "Reverse Canvas."
The all-day gathering is hosted by "Prospect Baton Rouge."
Panel discussions covered topics such as diversity, leadership, the health district and more.
Erin Monroe-Wesley, vice president of BRAC, said the purpose of the reverse canvas is to find multiple areas of improvement for Baton Rouge.
"The goal is to really engage leaders," Monroe-Wesley explained. "As we go across the country, look at other cities and understand the best practices, what we often hear is, 'Wait a minute. We're doing this in Baton Rouge.' And so, to really get a sense of 'A' - what we're doing - if we're doing it well and to really engage leaders in that conversation to really improve upon what we're already doing."
Panelists later toured the city to explore the landscaping needs of Baton Rouge.
