BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - One of the runways at the Baton Rouge airport is temporarily closed after a jet got stuck in the mud, according to BTR spokesperson Jim Caldwell.
A twin-engine corporate jet had hydraulic failure and ended up losing its breaks while taxiing before takeoff. The jet ran off the runway and ended up in the mud. Crews are currently working on removing the jet so the runway can be reopened.
The incident has caused a few delays and some flights have been diverted to other airports.
