RUSTON, LA (WAFB) -

Agents with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC), with the help of the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO), arrested a Ruston woman this past weekend for selling alcohol out of her home without valid state or local alcohol permits.

ATC agents received information that 21-year-old Bryana Chanee Jackson was selling mixed alcoholic beverages out of her apartment on Alabama Avenue in Ruston. ATC discovered that Jackson was advertising the products for sale on social media sites.

On the evening of February 27th, undercover ATC agents and LPSO deputies visited Jackson's residence. An undercover ATC operative was able to purchase two mixed drinks containing high content alcohol for $25 from Jackson.

Jackson was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center and charged with operating without a local or state high content alcohol permit.
