UNDATED - March is National Nutrition Month and a new study on weight problems in metro areas around the country showed obesity remains an issue in Louisiana, with one of the cities in the state ranked with the biggest weight problem in the US.
According to WalletHub, Shreveport was last on the list at No. 100. Baton Rouge was No. 84. New Orleans is ranked No. 91. Lafayette had the best ranking in Louisiana with 78.
Provo, Utah, was named tops with the smallest weight problems.
The study looked at 12 key areas, including percentage of adults and high school students who are obese and percentage of people who are physically active, to reach its conclusions.
