HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) -

Police said a third arrest has been made in connection with a pharmacy burglary that happened nearly two weeks ago.

The Hammond Police Department reported Kerry Walker, 27, of Houston, Texas, was booked into Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Tuesday.

Don Chaucer's Pharmacy in Hammond was burglarized on February 14 that an alarm inside the store notified police about.

Detectives said they responded to the scene to find the glass door shattered and inspection of the inside of the business showed narcotics, cash and other items had been taken. Investigators said there was surveillance video of the break-in.

The next day, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office contacted officers in Hammond and reported a vehicle had been stopped containing suspects possibly connected to the pharmacy burglary. Two men were arrested. Their names were not provided.

However, authorities said those arrests helped in Walker's capture.

They added more arrests are possible.
