BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Downtown Business Association hosted an open house Wednesday morning in hopes of recruiting new members.
"Christ in the City" provided a free continental breakfast to all who attended. The non-profit organization currently has more than 125 members, but it wants more.
Alicia Baron, the managing director of DBA, said this was a way to network, as well as showcase everything DBA has to offer.
"So, this is an opportunity for them to learn more about how to get involved and support the downtown business community," Baron explained. "And, of course, we produce Live After Five, just as a way to build the business community downtown."
The next open house will take place in April.
