BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A suspect in a criminal damage to property case in the LSU student union has turned himself in.

LSU police say that 21-year-old Sidney Simoneaux was arrested on charges of felony damage to property, costing over $1,000.

Capt. Cory Lalonde with LSU Police told WAFB that in the early morning of January 17, LSU student union workers found a broken sink counter, a fire extinguisher sprayed on the floor, and various broken windows.

LSU Police were able to send a release with pictures of the suspect gathered from security cameras in the union. Simoneaux turned himself in shortly after the release was sent.
