BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A woman from Walker was arrested Tuesday on an obscenity charge after she was walking through the hotel naked, according to documents from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office.
Laura Mistretta, 29, told deputies she was walking around the Crestwood Suites on S. Sherwood Blvd. naked because her friend stole her pants. The manager of the hotel asked Mistretta to leave the property after she allegedly called him offensive and derisive names in the lobby of the hotel.
A hotel guest also encountered Mistretta in a hallway of the hotel. He told deputies she began to yell at him and she could see her genitals and it was offensive to him. He also reported Mistretta continued to yell at him as he walked away from her.
Reports say many guests began to gather in the lobby because of the disturbance. Mistretta was asked to leave again by the hotel manager, but she refused and ran through the hotel. She came back to the lobby from the elevator and began to call the hotel manager "every name in the book."
When deputies arrived at the hotel, Mistretta was still on the property.
She was charged with obscenity, remaining after being forbidden, and disturbing the peace. She was released Wednesday on a $10,000 bond.
