BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Agents with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries cited three men for hunting deer during a closed season.
After a six day investigation, agents cited Walter Prine, 20, Aaron Morris, 20, and Stefan Reynolds, 25, with allegedly shot and killed five deer during a closed season, during illegal hours, from a moving vehicle on various public roads, without following deer tagging requirements.
Investigators found that the deer were taken to a residence in Ascension Parish. According to investigators, no effort was made to clean or butcher the deer. Agents had to dispose of the deer since they "were not fit for human consumption."
The men could face fines of $8,000 or more for the illegally hunted deer.
