PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) -

One of the parade organizers for the Krewe of Comogo announced the parade has been rescheduled due the threat of bad weather.

The parade in Iberville Parish was supposed to roll Monday, but the krewe has decided to have it Sunday at 7 p.m. Despite the change for the parade, the gala is still scheduled for Monday night.

Organizers in Plaquemine said there are 13 new floats this year.

The parade is a celebration honoring the life of Brenda Comeaux, who died of cancer.
