BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Louisiana Department of Revenue announced that they caught over 2,000 fraudulent Income Tax Returns filed through TurboTax and Intuit software.
The LDR says that all the information in the Louisiana tax computer system has not been compromised and that they are taking extra steps to make sure that taxpayers receive proper refunds.

"To our knowledge, our systems at the Louisiana Department of Revenue have not been compromised, but we want to alert all taxpayers who may have had their personal information compromised by TurboTax, so they can take the steps needed to protect themselves."
