ATLANTA, GA (WAFB) - LSU Football landed a big recruit Monday night at a needed position with a commitment from a four-star defensive end who said he made Les Miles, Ed Orgeron and Kevin Steele very happy men.
Lithonia, Georgia's Arden Key had been a South Carolina commitment twice, but decommitted and then canceled an official visit to Auburn. Key said he made his decision Monday morning and put on that LSU cap that night.
Key could fill the void of a Rasco or Hunter and is projected as possibly the next Sam Montgomery or Keke Mingo for the Tigers. The 6' 5", 230 lbs recruit who wears No. 11 can't make it official until Wednesday on National Signing Day.
