BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Nearly 1,200 people were without power in the downtown Baton Rouge area for a little while Monday night, but parts of the Spanish Town area remained without electricity for a few hours.
The outage downtown happened around 11 p.m. However, the majority of those left in the dark had power restored within moments.
A portion of the Spanish Town area was not so lucky. The power in those parts was not turned back on until early Tuesday morning.
