Southeastern QB Bryan Bennett uses Senior Bowl to show abilities

Senior Bowl: Southeastern's Bryan Bennett

MOBILE, AL (WAFB) - With Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall shifting to defensive back at the Senior Bowl this week, former Southeastern quarterback Bryan Bennett has a chance to show what he can do in front of the pro scouts and his old college coach.

If you remember, Bennett was at Oregon with Chip Kelly before transferring to join the Lions. The Philadelphia Eagles head coach was on hand to watch Bennett work with the South team in Marshall's place Thursday.

The two-year star for the Southland Conference said he's confident he can play at any level.

"Being at Oregon, that whole experience, was awesome," Bennett said. "Coach Kelly did a great job with us. I learned a lot from him and it was definitely a really good opportunity to play under a coach like him."

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. from Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.

The game will be televised on NFL Network.
