BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives arrested the man accused of robbing the Siegen Lane Chase Bank on January 16, 2015. Detectives also arrested his girlfriend who admitted to driving the getaway car.
Cedric T. Robillard Jr., 40, and LaShonda Hawkins-Wilson, 38, both of Baton Rouge are charged with first degree robbery.
Detectives received several Crime Stoppers tips identifying Robillard as the bank robber. He is currently on parole for burglary. Robillard's parole officer identified him from the bank surveillance video.
Detectives went to Robillard's residence Thursday, where they found his girlfriend Hawkins-Wilson. She admitted to detectives that she drove Robillard to and from the bank for the robbery. She told detectives after Robillard ran off with more than $4,000 the two of them went shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall.
Both will be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
