BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

EBRSO detectives are searching for three suspects with connections to an attempted burglary over the weekend.

Detectives say that video surveillance captured two men using crow bars to open the door of the AT&T store at 14409 Wax Road on Saturday, January 17 at about 6:45 a.m.

The video shows the two suspects running to the back closet where the store's phones were located. The burglars were unable to steal any phones, as they were locked inside of a metal cage. The suspects fled the scene in what officials say looks like a silver or tan mini-van.

Police have released images of the suspects from the video surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspects are urged to contact the EBRSO at 225-389-5000, or Crime Stoppers at 255-344-STOP
