Police arrested a woman whom they believe was using heroin while seven months pregnant.
The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested Krista Miller, 23, on Sunday.
She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of possession of heroin, possession of Xanax and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $15,000.
According to the probable cause report, Miller was found unresponsive in a car on Plank Road near Winnebago Street.
Officers reported finding her with a tourniquet wrapped around her arm and a needle on the console. They added a search of the vehicle turned up Xanax and heroin.
The report also states Miller was taken to Baton Rouge General Hospital - Bluebonnet to be checked out and then taken to the parish prison.
