ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) - An anonymous tip to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Tuesday led deputies to a man wanted for burglarizing several businesses in Ascension Parish.
Deputies arrested Eric Glascock, 42, of Prairieville for burglary, and he was also wanted for active warrants from ASPO, according to Major Kevin Hanna.
On Tuesday, APSO was seeking information on a suspect who burglarized several businesses in Gator Plaza on Highway 431 at Highway 931 on Saturday, January 10. In all three businesses, the glass of the front door was shattered, and deposit bags with an undisclosed amount of cash were taken.
On Tuesday night, deputies received an anonymous tip advising Glascock's wherabouts. Deputies found Glascock at a house on Floyd Holton Road in Prairieville and arrested him based off the anonymous tip.
Glascock was arrested and charged with three counts of simple burglary, three counts of simple criminal damage to property less than $500, and two counts of theft less than $750.
He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set yet and additional charges are anticipated.
