MORGAN CITY, LA (WAFB) - A woman arrested on meth charges Thursday was re-booked on additional meth charges Friday.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reported Lynette Guidry, 32, of Morgan City, now faces charges of operation of a clandestine laboratory and manufacturing methamphetamine. No bond was set.
Investigators said they believe she operated two meth labs at her home.
She was initially charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, general speed law, vehicle license required and driving under suspension.
Those charges were the result of a traffic stop. Deputies said she was driving 85 mph in a 70 mph zone and reportedly found meth in the car.
Authorities said the traffic stop led them to Guidry's home, which prompted a search and the reported findings resulted in the additional charges.
