BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The freeze plan for the Bishop Ott Shelter Program remains in effect thanks to the threat of falling temperatures.
The folks at St. Vincent de Paul said it is prepared to help the homeless seek shelter during this extreme weather.
In fact, officials added they have expanded their hours and their number of beds.
During times like this, they could not do what they do without contributions from the community.
If you'd like to help, donations for things like gloves, sweaters, ponchos and blankets are being accepted.
It is located at 1623 Convention Street.
