BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Garden District Trolley, part of the CATS Route Expansion Plan, will provide service linking the Garden District with Downtown and with the Perkins Overpass and Acadian Village retail area.

The service, Line 15, will run hourly on Saturdays, and every half hour on weekdays. There is not a Sunday service.

Later in the new year, a ride on the trolley will give riders easy access to grab a bite to eat at a pair of new restaurants.

Table Kitchen and Bar will replace the old Portico restaurant at Perkins Road and Stuart Avenue. Also, this spring the Crispy Catch fast-casual seafood chain will replace the Kean's the Cleaners location at the I-10 overpass.

Drivers tell us a regular fare on the trolley goes for a $1.75
