BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department have identified a man who died after his vehicle crashed into a retaining wall on I-110 Saturday morning.
Ronald Gauff, 63, died from injuries sustained from the crash about 3:15 a.m. in the 500 block of S I-110.
The investigation revealed that Gauff lost control of his truck while traveling southbound in the Capitol Access curve, running the truck into a retaining wall. First responders say that Gauff died on the scene.
According to investigators, alcohol is a suspected to have played a role in the crash.
