Authorities have identified the teenage girl killed and man injured in a crash involving a four-wheeler and a vehicle on New Year's Eve.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported Erin Guillotte, 17, of Gonzales, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies said Dalton Guedry was also riding on the ATV and was taken to the hospital. He was last listed in critical condition.
The wreck happened on LA 22 at I-10 around 10 p.m.
Lt. Col. Bobby Webre with APSO said Guillote and Guedry were crossing LA 22 on the four-wheeler when they were hit by the vehicle. The two people inside were not hurt.
Webre added investigators do not suspect impairment was a factor in the accident.
No charges have been filed at this time.
