BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
LSU junior linebacker Kwon Alexander, the leading tackler for the Tigers in 2014, won't be around for whoever takes over as defensive coordinator.
He announced on Twitter he has decided to forego his senior season and turn pro.
"I would like to thank LSU, the coaches, my team and LSU nation for all of the love and support that you have shown me throughout my tenure at LSU," Alexander posted. "After careful thought, prayer and after speaking with my family, I have decided to enter the 2015 NFL Draft."
A tweet by sophomore wide receiver Travin Dural indicated he is staying at LSU for his junior year.
