It's the year's last chance to watch some Tiger football and these LSU fans want a winner.

Fans piled-in to Buffalo Wild Wings at Northgate to watch the Music City Bowl. In the balance, finishing 2014 with a nine win season. In the way, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Fans we spoke with say the game felt like the start of next season.

"They have a great, great group of guys right now and next year it's going to be even better," said Austin Smiley, LSU fan.

"It's about putting the players in a good position, building their confidence and getting the experience," said Brett Shaw, LSU fan.

9News then talked to fans watching the game outside. The game was broadcasted on the monitors at Town Square.

"There's not much to be gained this season. It's more next season," said Josh Pickell, a senior at Catholic High School and LSU fan.

Meantime at Pastime at South Blvd., fans got fired up as the first half came to a close with the Tigers down 21-14. Many of them stuck around the entire game, all the way down to a game-winning field goal by Notre Dame.
