BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - After the gifts were unwrapped and the turkey was devoured, many people headed out to catch a film.
One of the places they spent their Christmas afternoon was the movie theater in Perkins Rowe.
It was business as usual for the theater, as movie-goers looked for some holiday entertainment.
Some people even made the trip a family affair.
"It's kind of a tradition with us," said Robert Hubbard. "We enjoy it. We don't go to the movies much, but this time of year, we like to go and take the kids out."
Some showings on Christmas started as late as 10:45 p.m.
