Baton Rouge Police arrest a man with marijuana in his pants.
On December 18th at about 4:30, Officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department conducted a stop, attempting to locate a suspect from a different case in a similar vehicle.
Upon making contact with Roosevelt Lewis in the drivers seat and Anthony Huggins in the passenger's seat of the vehicle, officers noticed a strong scent of marijuana. When Huggins was found to have an opened can of beer, both were arrested.
Officers conducted a search and found a small bag of marijuana in Huggins's pants pocket and under the torn material of the driver's seat. Lewis had a sandwich back containing 11 bags containing 18.8 grams of marijuana.
Huggins was charged with Possession of Marijuana (2nd Offense) and violation of Louisiana's Open Container law.
Upon arriving at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, a strip search was conducted and Huggins was found to have 10 individual bags of marijuana in his underpants.
Additional charges were applied and Huggins was booked accordingly.
