BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

An LSU law student was indicted for rape Wednesday.

The clerk of court reported an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury formally charged Abdellatif Devol on forcible rape, simple rape, attempted forcible rape and sexual battery.

Authorities said Devol was arrested on campus in September 2013 related to two cases that reportedly happened away from LSU.

The Baton Rouge Police Department investigated one of the cases and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office handled the other.

Investigators reported one of the incidents happened after an LSU home game. They added the suspect knew both of the alleged victims prior to the attacks.
