BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A trial date has been set for a man accused of pulling out a gun and firing at several people, killing one of them.

The murder and attempted murder trial of Brandon Hickerson, 34, of Baton Rouge, is scheduled to start on March 16, 2015.

He is suspected of shooting and killing Everett Collins, 31, also of Baton Rouge. The shooting happened in the 4500 block of Clayton Drive around midnight on April 11, 2011.
