Accused 3rd offense drunk driver crashes into house, knocking it off foundation

PIERRE PART, LA (WAFB) -

A Hammond, LA man was arrested Friday evening after his vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a house, knocking it off its foundation.

The investigation shows 23-year-old Joseph Marcus Dabadie and two passengers were driving south on Bayou Drive in Pierre Part when the vehicle ran of the road around 6:45 p.m.

Dabadie was taken to the hospital and routine toxicology tests were taken. 

Dabadie was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center for third offense DWI, insurance violation, driving under suspension, and improper lane usage.

Officials with the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office say additional charges and more arrests are likely.
