PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) - It was during a traffic stop Tuesday that deputies with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a mother and her daughter from Prairieville on multiple drug charges.
Deputies pulled over the vehicle for only having one headlight. During the stop, deputies noticed 54-year-old Terry Grosse and 33-year-old Christina Gross were very nervous. They also did not have insurance.
Detectives found a pill bottle that contained a legend drug called Buspirone Hydrochloride, which is used to treat anxiety, and a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Terry Grosse was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, no insurance, and headlights required.
Christina Grosse, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail awaiting bond.
