BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo is open at night now for Zoo Lights.
It traditionally opens on the night after Thanksgiving. It will open daily at 5:30 p.m., which is right around dark and gates close at 9 p.m.
Admission is $5 for most adults and teens. Kids get in for $3.
This year, there are 30-foot tall displays that will dazzle and a mile-long trail through the zoo that is sparkling with lights. You can buy snacks at the Flamingo Café and the gift shop is open.
Zoo Lights is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but runs through December 30.
