BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - There are literally a few hundred LSU students who cannot go home for Thanksgiving because they are from abroad, so the university provided them with a holiday meal.
"You enrich our campus by being with us," said LSU Chancellor-President F. King Alexander. "And, we're so grateful that you're a part of this great university. And, that you'll go home and tell your family and friends what a great place this is!"
Alexander served the ham on the food line.
The room contained students from some countries that take an entire 24 hours of flying to get to.
With a great south Louisiana Thanksgiving meal, students learned you want a little cranberry with your turkey.
