BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - St. Vincent de Paul in Baton Rouge hosted its annual turkey carving contest Wednesday afternoon at its dining facility. The winner, dressed in his scrubs, was East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Dr. William "Beau" Clark.
Several officials from East Baton Rouge and West Baton Rouge parishes participated in the event.
St. Vincent de Paul expects to serve about 240,000 meals over the holiday season.
St. Vincent de Paul has been actively striving to understand and fulfill the needs of the poor within Baton Rouge and the surrounding community since 1865.
