BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - What started as an argument between two men Sunday night ended with both men dead.
Just after 9 p.m., 32-year-old Lester Reed and 19-year-old Tevin Crump got into an argument in the 5300 block of Washington Court.
Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department say the argument between the two men escalated into a physical confrontation.
Reed, already armed with a kitchen knife, stabbed Crump multiple times in the torso.
Crump, who was armed with a handgun, shot Reed once in the torso.
Crump died at the scene. Reed was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police say no one else was injured.
