Body found near library on Bluebonnet Blvd.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found near the library on Bluebonnet Blvd.

The body was found around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. 

Officials say the cause of death is suicide and they are in the process of notifying the family.

Witnesses on the scene say the library is open, but the parking lot to the right of the building is blocked off for the investigation. 

Library visitors are still able to park in the lot on the left side of the building.
