LSU gets shut out 17-0 by Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (WAFB/AP) - LSU fell to Arkansas 17-0 in Fayetteville in the Battle for the Golden Boot.

Quarterback Anthony Jennings struggled in the game. He was 12-of-22 passing for 87 yards. He also lost a fumble. The Tigers (7-4, 3-4 SEC) managed only 123 total yards in the game.

This was LSU's second straight loss. It is only the second time LSU has lost back-to-back games under Les Miles.

Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen threw for 169 yards to help the Razorbacks (5-5, 1-5 SEC) snap a 17-game Southeastern Conference losing streak.

The conference win is the first for the Razorbacks since 2012 and coach Bret Bielema's first SEC win after 13 straight losses.

Arkansas' shutout is the school's first since a 20-0 win over Utah State in 2006 and it's the first in an SEC game since 2002 against South Carolina.

Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins ran for touchdowns for the Razorbacks. Williams had a 1-yard TD run in the second quarter, while Collins punched it in from five yards out.

LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye missed two field goals in the game.

LSU finishes the regular season against Texas A&M (7-4, 3-4 SEC) on Thanksgiving Day.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
